We provide an empathetic, confidential service for patients experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, or any other mental health concern. Both pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatment options are available, and we work collaboratively with you to find the most appropriate pathway.

You don't need to be in crisis to seek help. If you have been experiencing low mood, anxiety, or stress for more than two weeks, please make an appointment with your GP.

Mental Health & Wellbeing

Mental health is about more than the absence of illness. It is also about having a positive sense of wellbeing — the ability to enjoy life, cope with everyday stress, work productively, and maintain relationships. When difficult emotions become extreme or persistent and begin to affect daily functioning, support is available.

How We Can Help

  • Assessment and diagnosis of anxiety, depression, and other mental health conditions
  • Medication where appropriate, with ongoing review
  • Referral to HSE counselling and talking therapies
  • Referral to IACP-accredited therapists
  • Referral to CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services) for under-18s
  • Referral to HSE psychiatric services where needed
  • Support for stress, burnout, and life transitions

Five Ways to Wellbeing

Small, consistent changes can make a real difference to mental health. Research supports five evidence-based actions:

  • Connect — make time each day to connect with the people around you
  • Be Active — even a short walk or some gentle movement each day improves mood and energy
  • Take Notice — be present and appreciate the world around you
  • Keep Learning — try something new or rediscover an old interest
  • Give — doing something kind for others benefits your own wellbeing too
