Routine & Acute GP Consultations
Whether you need a routine check-up or have an urgent health concern, our GPs provide thorough, unhurried consultations. We offer same-day appointments for acute illness and scheduled appointments for ongoing care. Medical card, GP visit card, and private patients are all welcome.
Blood Tests & Investigations
We carry out a wide range of blood tests and investigations in-practice, including full blood counts, cholesterol, thyroid, diabetes screening, liver and kidney function, and more. Results are reviewed by your GP, who will contact you to discuss findings and any next steps.
Adult Vaccines & Immunisations
We administer a full range of adult vaccines including the annual flu vaccine, pneumococcal, shingles (Zostavax), HPV, Hepatitis A & B, and meningococcal vaccines. Eligible patients receive the flu vaccine free under the HSE scheme. Please call ahead to check availability and book.
Chronic Disease Management
Our practice is enrolled in the HSE Chronic Disease Management Programme, providing structured care for patients with type 2 diabetes, asthma, COPD, cardiovascular disease, and hypertension. Regular reviews help keep your condition well-managed and reduce the risk of complications.
Family Planning & Antenatal Care
We offer the full range of contraceptive options including the pill, patch, implant, coil (IUD/IUS), and emergency contraception. Our GPs also provide antenatal shared care for women who are pregnant, working alongside maternity hospitals to support you through your pregnancy.
Childhood Care & Immunisations
Children's consultations are available for all ages. We deliver the full HSE primary childhood immunisation schedule, developmental assessments, and management of common childhood illnesses. Children under 8 are seen free of charge under the GP visit card for children scheme.
We provide a confidential, non-judgemental space for teenagers to discuss physical and mental health concerns. Our GPs are experienced in supporting adolescents with issues including mental wellbeing, sexual health, sports injuries, and general health checks. Consultations for under-18s are handled with sensitivity and discretion.
Our female GPs offer a full range of women's health services including cervical smear tests (free under CervicalCheck for eligible patients), menopause assessment and HRT prescribing, breast checks, PCOS management, and general gynaecological advice. We strive to provide a comfortable and supportive environment.
Men often delay seeking medical attention — our GPs encourage regular health checks covering cardiovascular risk, blood pressure, cholesterol, PSA testing, testosterone, and mental wellbeing. Early detection and lifestyle guidance can make a significant difference to long-term health outcomes.
We provide comprehensive care tailored to older patients, including annual health checks, bone density assessment, falls risk evaluation, medication reviews, cognitive screening, and vaccinations. Medical card holders receive all GP services free of charge. Home visits can be arranged for patients who are unable to attend the practice.
Your mental health is as important as your physical health. We provide assessment and management of anxiety, depression, stress, and other mental health conditions. Our GPs can prescribe medication where appropriate, and will refer to HSE counselling, IACP-accredited therapists, CAMHS (for children), or psychiatric services as needed.
Sexual Health & Contraception
All sexual health consultations are treated in strict confidence. We offer STI testing, HIV testing, Hepatitis B/C screening, emergency contraception, and the full range of contraceptive methods. Free contraception is available for women aged 17–35 under the HSE scheme — ask your GP for details.
Dermatology, Minor Surgery & Cryotherapy
Our GPs provide assessment and treatment of common skin conditions including eczema, psoriasis, acne, and rashes. We also perform minor surgical procedures such as removal of cysts, lipomas, and skin tags, and cryotherapy for warts and verrucae. Suspicious moles and lesions are assessed and referred promptly where necessary.
We provide medical reports and certificates for a variety of purposes including life insurance and income protection applications, legal reports, driving licence medicals (including HGV and bus/coach drivers), fitness-to-work and fitness-to-fly certificates, and pre-employment medicals. A fee applies — please contact reception for current charges and turnaround times.
Planning to travel abroad? Book a pre-travel consultation at least 6–8 weeks before departure. Our GPs will advise on destination-specific risks and administer required or recommended vaccines (typhoid, yellow fever, hepatitis A/B, meningitis, rabies, and more). We also prescribe malaria prevention medication and provide International Certificate of Vaccination where needed.
